The hated firefox session restore feature

I do a lot of work on the web, including dealing with some pretty javascript intensive applications.

This means that firefox crashes, a LOT. And when it comes up I get that stupid irritating "would you like to restore your previous session message". I hate clicking through it, because generally I dont want every tab I had open before to come up. So I googled around and found this page.

Browser.sessionstore.enabled. It details how to turn off the session store feature using the about:config URL in firefox.

If you like me are not a big fan of the session store feature, I highly recommend that you disable it.

Applying or removing CSS styles via firefox extension... or browsing myspace without seizure

StyleSheet Chooser Plus is an amazing extension for Mozilla Firefox 2.x. It lets you select what CSS is applied to a page when you view it, and more importantly remembers that setting the next time you view the page.

For browsing MySpace.com it's a lifesaver, since it lets you tune out the overstyled pages that have become so common there. Now one small hickup, since it remembers the styling based on the domain, it doesnt let you have individual settings to filter out just certain myspace pages. It is however very fast to turn off and on, so you can only use it when you need it.

Combine it with a good flashblock plugin to keep a million flash embeds from loading at once, and your myspace life is now vastly improved.
